Take a walk in the Alps...

Walking...
The abundance of walks in the area are limitless. From the gentle ambles around the woods, lakes, villages and points of local interest (e.g. the ruined abbey) to the climbs of the many valleys and peaks of the Grand massiff all within easy reach. You certainly won't run out of ideas or space. The chalet can provide a huge range of local walks that are all graded, well mapped out and easy to follow. Choose your favorites at the begining of the week and you will have your stay with us planned!

The walks either start and finish at the chalet or we can provide a drop off⁄pick up service to suit your needs. We can also provide transfer between chalet and airport for a small fee (See prices page).

Scenery
All walks in the area are signposted but there's nothing to stop you walking where you're feet take you. Why not take a stroll around Lake Montriond, up to the waterfall and then a quick dip in the lake before a super meal with splendid veiws of the lake framed by the mountains either side.

The summits around the chalet give you a 360° view down to Lake Geneva on one side and up to Mont Blanc on the other. Taking photos just doesn't capture the beauty!

Hiking
Why not team up a hike with visiting the many mountainous villages for example Linderet, (nicknamed “The Goat Village”) which is on the way to the large and famous ski resort of Avoriaz.

Hiking around the many villages and pistes (which can be teamed with the use of ski lifts and telecabines in operation in the Portes du soleil) will ensure you get to the highest and most impressive, hard to beat views and walks. If you would like to wander further afield, we can provide a pickup service at a specific meeting point.
